Presnell, S. R., H. K. Spear, J. Durham, T. Riddle, A. Applegate, and C. T. Lutz. 2020. Differential fuel requirements of human NK cells and human CD8 T cells: glutamine regulates glucose uptake in strongly activated CD8 T cells. ImmunoHorizons 4: 231–244; DOI: https://doi.org/10.4049/immunohorizons.2000020.
In the second paragraph of the Human subjects and flow cytometry section of the Materials and Methods, there was an error in the description of the CD8 T cells analyzed. The fourth sentence of the paragraph, “In these experiments, CD3+ CD4− staining identified CD8 T cells; CD56dim and CD3− staining identified CD56dim NK cells,” should read: “In these experiments, CD3+ CD4−CD45RA− staining identified CD3+CD4−CD45RA− CD8 T cells; CD56dim and CD3− staining identified CD56dim NK cells.”
In addition, the legend for Supplemental Fig. 4A has been corrected to read “A. Memory CD8 T cells and NK cells in PBMC from 4 research subjects were analyzed immediately ex vivo, assessing Mitoview Green staining as described in Materials and Methods.”
The text has been corrected in the online article. The Supplemental material has also been updated online.
